Every story has a beginning. A long journey that began more than 75 years ago and every day it is coming true.

At the end of the 1930s, two small laboratories were founded almost at the same time: Orto in Seville (1937) and Normon in Madrid (1938). Twenty years later, in 1957, the two companies merged under the name Laboratorios Normon, whose headquarters were in Madrid. That year marked the beginning of a new company

In the 1990s, Normon consolidated its position as the leading generic pharmaceutical company as a result of its work in the first “Plan for the development and study of bioequivalent generic drugs” presented in Spain (1992). At the end of the decade, our company launched the first generic pharmaceutical products authorised in the country (1997).

This innovative complex of more than 80,000 m² has made Normon one of the largest and most modern laboratories manufacturing pharmaceutical products in Europe.
